Like any melee character, your weapon impacts your turnout very greatly. However, unlike the standard Barbarian, Paladin and such, the Damage Sorceress relies on her weapons for her attack skills, atop of the damage and speed. Lucky for us, however, is that the Damage Sorceress need not have a high physical damage, since her output is all from skills and auras, to begin with.

Therefore, the following section will explain probable choices for your Damage Sorceress, why they should or shouldn't be used, and how they are likely best used.

Azurewrath
A decent choice, relatively cheap, quite quick, and offering the two types of damage you don't have: Magic and Cold. Further, +Attributes and +Skills: It's certainly a nice sword, for beginners.

Ribcracker
Another useful melee weapon, the Ribcracker gives you a truckload of FHR, atop of a good swing speed. Sorceresses have very high staff-attack speeds, so this weapon makes use of that. The Crushing Blow is a good way to add Physical Damage to your already impressive elemental types, and you'll find plenty, here. However, since you don't need the high Physical Damage of the weapon, there is no need to find a costly Ethereal version of this.

Passion
A very versatile Runeword, giving any class the ability to use both Zeal and Berserk. Berserk converts physical damage to magic, so that won't be too useful, here, but Zeal certainly can be. For the Sorceress who wishes to retain her ability to Teleport, as well as having high attack speeds, this is the weapon for you. Cheap to make, and best done in a Phase Blade for the base weapon speed, this Runeword will also give you a nice Attack Rating boost, to help you connect on your swings. Certainly a first rate choice.

Hand of Justice
Another Runeword, this one offering a Holy Fire Aura, along with some Attack Speed, Target Blinding, Ignoring Target Defense, and reduction of enemy Fire Resistance. However, Holy Fire is a relatively weak aura, beside Holy Shock, though the average damage is more reliable. I haven't tried this weapon, myself, personally, but I've had suggestions to use it with Dragon for an extra aura pump, like some Auradins do. However, I use my armor for other stats [namely Resistance and Skills], so this weapon, but itself, likely wouldn't cut it. An interesting choice, but perhaps not as useful as, say, Passion, or Beast.

Kingslayer
Similarly to Passion, this Runeword gives you the option of using a Paladin skill, though most people don't understand the mechanics of how Vengeance works to realize how futile this weapon is. Vengeance converts Physical Damage to tri-Elemental Damage. Unfortunately, the Damage Sorceress already supplies plenty of Fire and Lightning Damage, and lacks the Physical Damage to convert. A poor, and expensive, choice for this build.

Beast
My personal favourite choice, Beast gives the Sorceress the ability to transform into a Werebear, giving her a huge Life boost, as well as a nice Defense boost. It also increases her general attack speed, and hit recoveries, as well as looking awesome. However, you do lose the ability to cast spells, including Teleport, in this form, so there are tradeoffs. Beast would best be used to Transform, and then switched with a high attack speed weapon [110+% Increased Attack Speed Phase Blade works best], in order to receive a huge speed turnout, for little cost.

Infinity
A very expensive runeword, though not without reason, Infinity will be the best friend of any Damage Sorceress when she gets the Conviction Aura from it, atop the reduced enemy Lightning Resistance. This weapon works wonderfully for removing the odd Fire/Lightning Immune monster, and has Crushing Blow to throw on top of the damage, as though your Elemental Damages weren't ripping through things fast enough. The downsides to this weapon? First off, your Mercenary will be jealous. Second of all, it's 2-handed, so no shield for you. Lastly, no attack speed. It gives Run Speed, but you should be teleporting with this, anyway. In any case, a viable choice for some PvM Damage Sorceresses.

Any of the above weapons could work on a Damage Sorceress, save for those outrightly ridiculed, and you are encouraged to try a few different ones out, and to determine your style of play based on how you wish to fight. If you're playing PvP, you're not going to care so much about Crushing Blow, or Ignoring Target Defense, since your damage should be such that you kill in a few hits, regardless of some extra physical damage. On the other hand, PvM doesn't require as much Attack Rating, or even a shield, so long as you kill quickly and efficiently.
Your weapon decides how you will play your Sorceress, so take your time and plan it out carefully.
