PowerAdvantageLZ: It was at this moment, however, that he realized he heard someone, nearby.

PowerAdvantageLZ: Hiding as quickly as he could find a hedge, he watched as a short figure, wearing dark robes, waddled up the hill slope, and by the bush.
PowerAdvantageLZ: It was muttering to itself, and playing with a Lemon-Yellow bracelet it had on, and Ryan could only make out a little of what was being said.
PowerAdvantageLZ: "Now I'm the big guy... no more 'Little one, fetch me a staff!', and 'Shrimp, get me my orb!'... With this, I can be as strong as any of them!"

PowerAdvantageLZ: Ryan pondered this, wondering what on Earth this thing was talking about, when suddenly it jumped around, glaring towards the hedge, and starring intently.
PowerAdvantageLZ: "Aha.... Gotcha!"
PowerAdvantageLZ: Without warning, a sparrow, which had lighted on a branch near Ryan's face, chirpped, and began thrashing its head violently from side to side. It's body appears to remain motionless.
PowerAdvantageLZ: Without any flapping, it was lifted into the air, and suspended there. Ryan gulped uneasily.
PowerAdvantageLZ: "You were mocking me, weren't you?! WEREN'T YOU?!" The little man screamed at the bird, before it began to glow blue, and floated towards him.
PowerAdvantageLZ: "Well, I'll teach you! I'll teach you all!"
PowerAdvantageLZ: With that, the Bracelet around his wrist began to glow, and Ryan realized that there was a pendant, or ornament, on the inside, which was glowing brightly.
PowerAdvantageLZ: The little man reached for the bird with both hands, before clutching it, and squeezing and twisting in one quick, violent motion, which sent blood and innards flying.
PowerAdvantageLZ: One leg flew at Ryan, and he simply glared, stunned and bewildered.
PowerAdvantageLZ: That was when his temper got the better of him.
PowerAdvantageLZ: "What are you thinking?! You evil, evil man! Why did you do that?! Answer me!"
PowerAdvantageLZ: The little man stared back at Ryan, surprised to see him, apparently.
PowerAdvantageLZ: "I think you are not in a position to be asking me questions, young earthling..." He chuckled evilly.
PowerAdvantageLZ: "I had best teach you some manners..."
PowerAdvantageLZ: "What do you mean, manners?! You just killed that bird?! Who are you, and why did you do that?!"
PowerAdvantageLZ: The man let loose a wild sweatdrop.
PowerAdvantageLZ: "You ruined the moment.... Agh.... Let me teach you something, youngling; The Dark Circle answers to no-one, and Rekkuru is strong beyond comprehension!"

PowerAdvantageLZ: And with that, he lowered his cloak, revealing pale, yellow skin, with a few wrinkles and a short, thin mustache.
PowerAdvantageLZ: He began chanting, and a ball of blue energy formed in his palms. Ryan, however, decided to take this moment to show this evil man the justice he deserved.

PowerAdvantageLZ: His rage is gone, and although he feels he could not use it to headbutt again, he is fatigued, and realizes that this was all started over the murder of one, innocent animal.
PowerAdvantageLZ: He shrinks down, knowing that his opponent is hurt, and not wanting to kill anyone, rushes to his side.
PowerAdvantageLZ: The wizard glares up at him, growling angrily, but near death, anyway.
PowerAdvantageLZ: "It's.... it's not right.... I was supposed to be strong... they said it made you strong..."
PowerAdvantageLZ: He spat up blood, cursing as he soiled his robe, before his body glowed with a black energy, and when it cleared, he was gone.
PowerAdvantageLZ: However, his Ornament was left on the ground.
PowerAdvantageLZ: Ryan left a silent prayer for the deceased fighter, noting his prowess and technique, before picking up the Ornament.
PowerAdvantageLZ: As he put it over his wrist, he gasped as Strength flooded through him.
PowerAdvantageLZ: He was unsure of how this could be, but he knew one thing for certain...
PowerAdvantageLZ: Whatever this was, someone had told Rekkuru about it.
PowerAdvantageLZ: And, chances were, that at least one of these someones was stronger than him.
PowerAdvantageLZ: Ryan shivered at the thought.
PowerAdvantageLZ: He would keep this a secret, not telling anyone, for fear that his own life would be forfeit before he could repay his honour-debt to the fighter.
