PowerAdvantageLZ: The warriors of Earth gathered at the newly-built arena, which would house the battles of the so-called "Cell Games". The surrounding area was basically a deserted plain, covered in dust and rock.

PowerAdvantageLZ: In the middle of the arena, Cell stood, eyes closed, arms crossed, as though in a deep trance. His perfected body, thanks to 16 and 17, held a powerful aura, which even the non-Warriors could sense.
PowerAdvantageLZ: They gathered, noticing notably few people around. Perhaps nobody wanted to die first.
PowerAdvantageLZ: However, several cameras had been built around the mountainside that bordered near the arena, as well as on the ground around it. People would still watch the event, but from the 'sanctity' of their homes.
PowerAdvantageLZ: The warriors paused, waiting for the transit bus system to drop off the remaining warriors, before it sped away, not wanting to be any closer than the citizens.
PowerAdvantageLZ: Cell opened his eyes, and smiled.
PowerAdvantageLZ: "Welcome. Welcome, all of you."

PowerAdvantageLZ: "No! Take m-" Mirai Trunks begins, before getting elbowed by a half-dozen different people, who had been expecting as much out of him.
PowerAdvantageLZ: No nobility. No mercy.
PowerAdvantageLZ: No chance.
PowerAdvantageLZ: "The rules will be just like your usual World Tournaments; disqualification if you leave the ring, or are knocked unconscious."

PowerAdvantageLZ: And, despite the irony it would be to see these two events intertwine in some manner, it isn't to be, much to Rufus' disappointment.
PowerAdvantageLZ: The Mako Cannon reaches its max energy capability, and the scientists all nod, before hitting the big, red button.
PowerAdvantageLZ: The beam fires, aimed as closely as possible at the Cell Games tournament arena.

PowerAdvantageLZ: The warriors sense the energy, but only moments before everyone seens the brilliant, white light flashing in the sky, and arcing straight down on the arena.

PowerAdvantageLZ: Voon, who was attempting to sneak through Sephiroth's unclosed portal, gets blasted back in, only to watch it shut before his eyes.
PowerAdvantageLZ: When the smoke clears, leaving a round cloud of dust, a crater is left in the earth/.
PowerAdvantageLZ: Easily twenty meters in any direction, there is no sign of the arena, nor of the Cell Juniors.
PowerAdvantageLZ: Nor of Daimao.
